Default Fix RA/TA/HA Quiters

The single most annonying thing in PvP for me is when 1 or more of the team just up and quits because there isn't a monk or they don't like the team they got.

Here's my fix: Have a maximum limit for mid game quits, obviously there may be times when people NEED to quit for whatever reason.

Say you get 5 leaves a week as your quota, if you exceed that you have a 24 hr ban/loose x amount of faction or whatever.

Don't play RA if you want a specific team. It ruins it all of us that do.

Perhaps people complain about it because its broken.
I don't got 30 minutes to sit around in TA trying to get a team together, I want to play a quick match and not have everyone quit every other game.
And theres almost as many people who quit TA matches as RA, they just do it 2 minutes into the match.

Maybe you are one of the quiters?

Well, this would be a good idea but, some people have to go for certain reasons, if they have to go they get punished noo... and also there are noobs in RA sometimes and they dont know what they are doing so you leave, whats wrong with that? /unsigned

Well like I said there can be a quota on how many leaves you get. There certainly must be a balance between acceptable and unacceptable amount of quits.

And here's one that just happened to me and my team. We had a 9 wins in RA and as soon as the 10th match was going our monk said he was quiting so we wouldn't get Glad point. And he did and we didn't.

There SHOULD be punishment for this type of behavior it really blows.

People get angry for it.

If people want a certain team, they HAVE to go to TEAM arenas.

They should remove on gladiator point for each, let's say, 3..5 battles you quit in a row or if you quit more than 1 every 5 minutes.

What happens when you land on a team of 3+ monks? I dont want to be forced into playing that game for hours.
Multiple Rts?
Multiple stance tanks?
Runners?
Someone else quits?
Someone strips off?
Someone kills themself?

There are so many things that give people a good reason to leave and there is no way for any system to be able to pick and choose who deserves to be punished based on why they left. In the end it is only RA, its meant to be random. That includes the mentality of the rest of your team, if they want to leave you cant make them stay.

Well, if sometimes you get a full monk party in random arenas, then half of the flaw is due to the system.

I think a better answer to quitters is that if someone leaves, they're replaced by a generic NPC of whatever class they were. It wouldn't be as good as the player, but it'd be better than nothing, right?

If they leave then they should be replaced by a bot with the build they entered with.

It has been suggested for PvE.

Since we have at least one hero for each profession.
Leaving an arena would be, then, like removing your brain form your body.
And then your body is controled by an 'hero' brain.

But, of course, you won't stick with than 'replacement'.
Onc a new battle starts, you'll get a human replacement.
